Hopefully others will chime in.   Jack is right the ABCM works like a
champ.  Great for that space.

The engine blower isn't worth the dinosaurs consumed to make the plastic
housing it sits in, it doesn’t move anywhere near enough air for cooling
purposes IMHO.   You could buy a real ventilation fan with sufficient CFM
to move air from the cockpit locker but....seems like you are simply
creating yet another project that in the end will cost more than the drop
in solution especially factoring in the new wiring to the cockpit
locker...better to find a drop in replacement with adequate cooling that
can go right back where you have the current unit.   And of course...seal
up that propane locker with some sort of butyl tape.   It shouldn’t leak
anyhow, if it's leaking water...it also leaks propane which is bad as
others have pointed out.
