I have not done any work on mine other then contemplate how I am going to do it when my time comes.
So two recent articles in Catalina Main Sheet provide clues.
Quick summary:
Unbolt shaft coupler.
Jack up M30.
Replace one mount at a time.
Remove the 2 engine mount lag bolts from the stringer.
Remove top nut off engine mount and push out.
Adjust new mount to same as removed mount.
Reinstall top nut and lag bolts.
parts4engines has new mounts
Bolt coupler.
Have boat yard check shaft alignment.
I could do it but it would take some time.
I found a procedure for shaft alignment.

Subject: [C320-list] Perkins M30 Rusty Mounting Brackets

I have a 1995 hull #225 with pretty rusty engine mounting brackets. When I purchased her last year, the engine surveyor noted that one was worse than the other three and suggested I might want to replace them all sooner than later. This boat did have some issues with water when the aqua-muffler once failed, but I wonder if anybody else has encountered this issue with rusty engine mounts and took care of it? Is there anyway to address them without pulling the engine? Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
