[C320-list] Refrigerator Removal/Installation

I just changed my AB fridge system for the Nova Cool machine which draws less than 3A. I gave the AB machine to a boating neighbour and it continues to work well. The Nova Cool does a better job of keeping stuff frozen.

I note this because I did my dripless bellows when I did my bearing. What I did not know is that our propeller shaft requires a spacer. I did not realize there was a spacer when I ordered the bellows. This would not have been a big deal for you, being on the hard for 5.5 months, but I was paying for yard time by the day.

My new (this year) fridge draws under 4 amps when its running (obviously it doesn't run continuously) and the shore powered battery charger can put more than that back into the battery - or put it another way it is effectively supplying the fridge directly when we are on shore power.

In a recent big storm on Lake Lanier (north of Atlanta) our Wavelength 24 Ishtar that lives in a slip on a lift got hammered by incredible shifting of the floating dock and access bridge (we're the first boat on the dock) -- there was visible damage (a dock stanchion punched a hole in her side) and we got that repaired and Geico/BoatUS paid for it. Then last weekend the boat went out to race for the first time since that bad storm...and there was significant structural damage with a compromised, cracked, and delaminating bulkhead -- the boat was immediately brought back to the slip and inspected by a professional who called for a whole new bulkhead etc etc etc which will likely run somewhere between $2,000 and $3,000 all-in after boat comes out of water, etc. So -- how now to go back to insurance and get them to add this additional claim to the original damage??? Unlikely they'll do anything. Lesson learned: get a

Lesson learned: get
