[C320-list] Range Finders

We have found ourselves in a crowded anchorage (such as Mary Ann Cove in
the North Channel) where knowing the distance from Bucket List to the shore
or to a boat that seems to be getting closer would be very helpful.

Do any of you utilize some type of range finder?  There seems to be visual
(in binoculars) or laser - used by golfers routinely.  Are there others?
What do you use?
