[C320-list] Range Finders

PNW anchorages are frequently crowded so I bought an inexpensive golf style range finder on Amazon, and then made up a table of swing radiuses for different depths, rode lengths, and scopes. I have this taped under the anchor well lid so I can very quickly determine if I have the potential to swing into another vessel when I drop anchor (you still have to make assumptions about their scope, of course). The other big improvement I made was to update my rode to include 100’ of chain, which really helps reduce your tendency to drift in calm conditions. When it’s windy swinging is less of a concern since most boats tend to lay into the wind in the same direction.

I have the original style faucets https://www.catalinadirect.com/shop-by-boat/catalina-350/hull-deck/stern/shower-valve-for-cockpit-shower-lt-2004/ and it appears to me that water is just getting into the cockpit enclosure and then seeping under the base of the faucet assembly and showing as drips coming down the threaded mounts underneath and the attached hoses.

I'm thinking one with a screw-in cap might be better to get a water seal (although I understand it would be more difficult to remove, especially if not opened routinely). Ideally a replacement would mount using the same mount holes (I know, I'm dreaming).
