Thanks John. I will probably do the anti-siphon hoses at the same time.

I visually inspected the chain locker drain hose a few weeks ago - it looked okay. That one looks like a pain to replace and we don't routinely haul out in Seattle.

I eventually got rid of the lock buy running the engine for short periods, a minute or so, and then adding antifreeze to the engine. It took about 4 times before the antifreeze would circulate properly. I also made sure the antifreeze surge tank was properly topped up. 
By the way I’ve now replaced most of the hosing. I’ve just completed replacing the anti-siphon hoses on the engine running to the port lazerette. There are two of them each 10’ long. On lift out I’m replacing the hose on the chain locker drain.
