Subject: Re: [C320-list] Lifeline Pelican Hook - what size?

Bob,

I am not sure of the Pelican Hook length. My terminal stud that I used on my newly created lifelines was: CSJ 31-606-1, Hand Crimp Lifeline Stud, 5/16-24 RH x 2" (SKU# 130143 at Fisheries Supply). My guess is 5/16"-24 RH is the right Pelican Hook for you as well, though I am not sure of the length. Also, my wire size is 3/16". The RH designator did not matter starboard or port; both are RH.

I hope this helps,

Jeff

Busy at the pier filling the water tanks & did not notice lifeline pelican hook fell off. Dang!

So prior to returning to the boat to determine life line diameter & RH or LF.

Has anyone replaced the starboard side upper lifeline Pelican Hook? 3.5" and 4" overall length.

And is it 1/4"-28 LH or 5/16" -24 RH or the many other sizes on Catalina Direct?

    Thank you!
