I am by no means an expert but I leave my boat plugged into shore power all of the time. I am currently on the hard painting the bottom, etc. and I am still plugged into shore power. Unless you have an alternative power source, if you are away for a significant period of time you run the obvious risk of discharging your batteries, which means any automatic bilge pumps would not work. I can’t imagine a situation where remaining plugged into shore power is an issue unless there is a concern of overcharging batteries with a “dumb” battery charger.
At least in the ’94 variant, there is a master circuit breaker in the port aft locker. It works!
I doubt this is much help but the only time our boat is not plugged into shore power is when we are on the water.
