Google Groups is and always has been only an archive for the mailing list that makes it easier to search through old posts. As far as I know this hasn't changed. The only thing that changed is that Google stopped allowing the groups page to be embedded in the association web site. Posts to the list have always been made through the address that you are using and joining/leaving similarly are through the association mailing list itself and not Google.

Ditto here -- but somehow I heard about annual renewal and got that done, but not because I received an email.  In fact, I tried to correct the email issue at the time and just gave up

I have the same problem. I'm on the email distribution list, but didn't receive a request to renew membership nor can I figure out to do so.

All,

Although I had seen warnings on the C320 website for months about google no longer allowing embedded groups, I of course completely ignored them.

Now, the discussion list is gone from C320.org and instead the list is hosted by google groups.

Not a problem except that I cannot seem to find how to join the group (which would allow me to post there).  I can see postings but I am not a member of the group (that says I need an invitation).  I have clicked on a couple of links to "Contact Owners and Managers" but google kicks those back to me and says I need to try something else.

Any suggestions appreciated!
