[C320-list] Inadequate Dedicated Starting Battery

My understanding is that 12.2v is 50% charge, when measured resting, I.e NOT under load. I would have no qualms taking a battery to 12.0v when it IS under load as I would expect that to recover to well over 12.2v after a test of 20 minutes or so.

When I start my diesel heater (which draws about 25A for thirty seconds or so) the voltage temporarily dips waaaaay down, so much so that sometimes it refuses to start!

I think also most fridge compressor controllers have a low voltage cut out set at around 11v. I assume this is set low to allow for the temporary dip in voltage whilst loaded?

Hope this helps
