 Hi Ken. Welcome neighbour.  We sail out of Hindson Marina in Penatang Bay, just around the corner.  

Our Northern Dream has a canvas companion way cover that incorporates a zippered flap that exposes a screen when opened.  The canvas runs horizontally from the opened slider aft-ward then drops down over the opening.  There is an incorporated batten to hold it up across the opening and some sewed in rope to weight it down and define the edges and a few snaps.  We like it because it sets up quick and stores rolled up.  Good for warm and cool weather.

Hi
I am new to this forum and the new proud owner of a Catalina 320.  Not sure the HIN, i will look when I am able to unwrap my baby in the spring

We will be sailing out of Midland on Georgian Bay.  I am thinking I would like to have a screen insert for the main companion way into the cabin.
I would like ventilation for those warm summer nights but i want to keep out the bugs.

Wondering if anybody has ever made or bought something like this.  If you have, do you have any tips or things to watch out for.
