[C320-list] wiring for light over refrigerator?

There is a short in the circuit to the light over the fridge in my boat. The wires seem to be tightly wedged between cabin top and headliner and are immovable. I can identify the circuit on the main panel and electric system schematic, but there is no 'map' to show where/how the wires make their way through the boat.
Has anyone else had to re-wire this light? Suggestions?
