Try this video.  Subscribe to his channel.  He has quite a few confidence
building videos for basic 3GM30 maintenance.   Note that you will run into
many of the same issues he describes in the video (e.g. the starboard side
drain will be clogged almost certainly).

 Hope this addresses your ask.    Once you think you got it, come back with
any specific concerns.   If this is your first time draining and filling,
skip the water heater hoses just like he does in the video.   That is not
necessary too often as long as you are changing the engine side often
enough.  If you are going for a full flush or changing over coolant type
that's a different story, you'll need to do a full drain of all lines and a
lot of flushing…
