[C320-list] Worn goose neck

I added a large stainless washer to bear the weight of the boom and prevent the aluminium from being gouged/worn. Works well and prevent the creaking noise.

The gooseneck on my 1997 Catalina 320 creaks noisily.The reason for this is that the aluminium end fitting on the boom has worn, and now is quite loose.The stainless steel shaft is not worn.
I have greased it, although who wants grease near the sail.Has anybody had a similar problem with a solution to fix it.
