[C320-list] Pulpit / bowrail rust

Hi,

We use "Spotless Stainless". We pour it in a little spray bottle. We have a 2nd spray bottle with just water. Go along and spritz on the Spotless Stainless and then for the next hour (or whatever it says on the container) keep it from drying up by spritzing with fresh water from time to time.

Our favorite time to do this is on a foggy or cloudy day or in the morning when there's still dew on the deck. After it's been on for an hours or so rinse it off with a hose.

We took a whole batch of stainless screws/nuts and soaked them in a dish with this overnight and rinsed them off the next day and they looked like they just came from the hardware store.

Your mileage may vary and some parts clean much better than others, so it probably depends on the alloy. It's all we use for our stainless lifelines, anchor roller, etc..

After that, we tend to use Collinite 850 metal wax to help it resist the red powder rust a bit longer.

I will try barkeepers, it worked well in the bilge. Thanks Chris.
