[C320-list] Linear autohelm

   Hello John:  We had a wheel pilot on Firefly #848.  It was terrible - almost worthless.
I think you ARE definitely on the right track with a linear autopilot.  Good plan!  Don't mess around with the wheel pilot.                          
However, I did spend quite a bit of time in the back lazarette down by the steering quadrant.  It would be a terrible job to install.  Oh my - - - that would be tough.  BUT, once done and operable, it would be grand.
