Depending how far into the boom the line has gone, you might be able to retrieve it with one of these:

If it's too far in for that, I'd explore using an electrician's fish tape with a hook made from a coat hanger duct taped onto the end.

Stupidly I’ve lost the outhaul line from the boom head into the boom. Anyone know a trick to retrieve it? I’m in the process of removing the boom.
