[C320-list] Fuel shut-off

We couldn’t put a cutoff between where the fuel hose comes out of the
fiberglass and the Racor. The fuel tank cutoff is very difficult to reach
from aft lazarette. I’m think about cutting about a 4 to 6-inch hold on the
back wall of the aft bunk, installing a screw-open cover, to access that
fuel tank cutoff. Any advice?

I installed a fuel shutoff right at the Racor Input. Same kind of shutoff
valve used on the fuel tank. Ideally you should install one on both the
inlet and outlet side of the racor so that you can prevent virtually all air
from getting into the system during a filter change.

Has anyone added a fuel shut-off upstream of the Racor filter. I hate
crawling back to the fuel tank to reach that valve. There is not very much
room between the Racor and the bulkhead where the fuel line enters.
