 Jeff
I have hull #30 and I had a a 6 Gal Seaward..which is now owned by Whale. It was tight but I was able to replace it with a new one 6 gal.
As far as I know Seaward made all the Hot water heaters for out boats.  I thought they were all 6 gal
Seaward / Whale does make a 3 Gal  defender and West Marina both have them.  You can also look at Kuuma.
Just be sure you get the one that have the Heat Exchanger lines that are in tthe Back.

I have hull 17  1993 I need to replace my water heater, but the 5 gallon ones are too big for the compartment. I had what I think is. A 3 gallon, but cannot find it anywhere Any suggestions?
