The most likely scenario is that when you sanitized the tank you killed off
some sort of slime algae that then clogged something up.   For me it's
usually the strainer just before the pump but it’s certainly plausible if
you had a lot of growth in the tank that the clog is upstream of the pump
filter.   Assuming you were not playing with any fittings then the next
most likely scenario is that debris got jammed in one of the valves in the
diaphragm pump.    This requires a minimum of  taking the pump apart to
reseat the valves, and it may require a repair kit.    It could be sucking
air from a lose fitting upstream of the pump but that’s probably not it
unless you had something apart prior.
