yes instead of a Whale slip connector,
I have connected two ends of 15mm tube together by slipping both ends inside a piece of 5/8" diameter reinforced water hose and double hose clamping.

It also an option to join the two with a piece of rubber and some hose clamps.

15 mm PEX tubing also on my boat.
I purchased 15mm Whale fittings and tubing online from both Amazon and Fisheries Supply.
Also purchased 15mm SeaTech fittings from the local boat yard store, also available online.
I prefer Whale.

H.Depot sell 1/2" PEX.  no match with 15mm.

Whale does have 15mm to 1/2" adaptor fittings.

The 15mm PEX tubing on the 320 appears to be an oddball size.  The Catalina Direct website suggests that Catalina used 15mm PEX only on the
320 and some later 42s. Home Depot doesn't appear to stock anything
related to 15mm PEX.   And there don't appear to be any faucets designed
for 15mm PEX.

There also doesn't appear to be any common connection size for faucets
-- as one example, CD sells three faucets, two of them with 1/2"
connections and one with 3/8" connections.

Has anyone been through this process and able to offer any advice?  Best faucets and adapters to use?
