Many thanks everyone. 
For interest I did try an online quote on BoatUS and initially got excited at the $487 number - only to find that was a first instalment on a plan that wanted over $1500 with a max value of 37,500!  Would be amazed to see a boat like AR for that little....  perhaps I'm dreaming.

$857 for $57,000 agreed value and $500k liability. Named storm deductible is 5%.

This is with Progressive. I had been insuring with Foremost, but they got a bit too expensive.
