Sorry to relay this after reading other's input, but my boater's insurance is $186/year total ($15.50/month) from State Farm, bundled with our car and apartment renters insurance. Our premium was $473/year when we first insured it with them in 2017, but the rate dropped substantially after 3 years (still don't know why but didn’t want to question too much). I argued the initial high premium with them that didn't make any sense compared to a friend's younger/more valuable 320 at a lower premium.
Our 1994 boat value is listed at $48k, we have $500 deductible, $300k liability coverage, $1k medical insurance per person, $1k emergency service.

Is anyone else in a similar situation and importantly has anyone found
  a better deal?
For background I have been with the firm since I bought the boat in
2010 and have never had any claim. The boat is afloat for only 5 weeks
a year for our annual cruise and lives in a dry storage shed inland for
  the rest of the year.
