[C320-list] Has anyone tried switching out windlass capstan to one with a gypsy? What did you learn?

When I purchased my 320 (621) it came with a windlass with gypsy.  I elected to go with an all chain rode so I only use the gypsy.  I've had no problems with the system and the anchor is easy to raise.

We could use a little help pulling up the anchor when it gets to the 20 or so feet of chain.  A single wrap around the existing gypsy-less capstan is less reliable than we would like.

Has anyone attempted to switch out the capstan for one with a gypsy like CD shows here?

I"m guessing this became standard equipment on boats of newer vintage.
