Good points Art.  The factory took feedback from the owners and c320 association and made subtle but important tweaks along the way.The early hulls had a shallow grid for the bilge.  That was redesigned with the centerline deeper bilge. That design carried forward through the rest of the hulls, including the mkII.  The fridge/shower Y valve was added as an improvement to prevent fridge spills from being drained into the bilge. Think milk... LolWe (the association) started  documenting the kinds of changes that were made and aprox which hull number they first appeared in.There is a doc on the c320.org website that lists hull changes. Lots more input would help complete this doc.Great topics on here.Jeff Hare

I think that came a out on the version 2 which actually has a low point in the bilge and not a flat bilge like earlier models. I think the shower pump was even a design as an after thought as late as Tortuga because she has a different through hull fitting than the head intake and head sink. Early 320’s are still good boats but the mark2 and newer models addressed a lot of issues of the early design. I’m not sure if it was ever tied in to the shower sump pump hose, but what I have now is that refrigerator drain hose with a stopper, actually a wine bottle cork LOL, in the end and it is held in that compartment above the waterline of the refrigerator bottom. When I winterize, I take out the plug and suck out any water in the hose and then put the plug back in.> Thanks> Steve Morgan> Salt Shaker> 1995 #221> > > >> On Apr 25, 2024, at 8:52 AM, Dave Hupe via C320-list <c320-list at lists.catalina320.com> wrote:>> >> I have never had drainage from the refrigerator drain into the bilge.
