[C320-list] Spreader Boots

I need to replace both lower spreader boots. Does anyone know which size to use if I buy the Edson Marine Leather Spreader Boot kit?  They come in small (3/8" circumference/1" diameter), medium (6 3/4" circumference/2" diameter), and large (9 1/2" circumference/3" diameter).  My gut says "medium" but I've been there before with the plastic boots and the ones I got were teeny tiny.
