Being N of the storm and at the eye wall we (in Gulfport FL) had major wind but no storm surge. Lots of trees down and no electricity. As for the boat, no issues at all. I had all canvas off and extra lines out. I even removed items that I would save for my next boat if the worst happened. But, once again, we got lucky. I feel bad for those south of us.

I wake up every morning with a harbor view that looks like an Impressionist painting. But I also see trees down, flooded houses, people's possessions piled up on swales, my favorite hangouts drowned. Third time we've had water inside the house in three years. We're getting too old (72) to do this again.
