[C320-list] Water lift muffler

This is a known issue with these mufflers. The seam around the base where the top is glassed to the bottom eventually cracks and the exhaust pressure will push out water and fumes through the cracks. There have also been cases of cracks developing where the hose tubes go through the muffler wall.

Supposedly, you used to be able to order a new muffler from Catalina, but I am unsure if this is still possible. If they still do it, the would require you to send them your old one to use as a template, effectively rendering your boat inoperable until the new one arrives.
