[C320-list] new boat terrors

Susan,
If you're taking a loan and are an american citizen, the lending
institution will probably insist on doing the CG documentation themselves at
your expense ($500 for us). This means you also have to have your boatname
chosen before you can sign the papers... :)

Don't sweat the C320 issues. No matter whether you're buying a Sabre or a
Catalina, it takes a little while to shake things out. There was a good
discussion of the things a new owner can do after you take delivery to help
ensure everything's in working order and properly set up.

If I can find it, I'll post it to the website when I get a chance.

-Jeff

susan
you can file document papers your self with the coast guard, I believe
it still cost $133.00 just go to the CG web site an click on services an
then click on vessel documentation once your registered annual renewal is
free
