I just bought it and painted my engine covers. However, I do not have
anything to report yet because I haven't started the engine yet, boat still
on the hard.
I will let you know how it works.

They're kind of like a skiff with a 12' bulb keel attached. Looks like a
fun ride though.

Has any one cleaned the aft cabin mattress covers ?
Can they be washed or will they shrink and cause more of a
problem than its worth ?
Thanks;

I wouldn't get too much into cleaning. I have #130 and the material,
besides looking like drapes at my mothers house, was shot. Good luck.

Actually it looks very good, the boat is a 94 and we have had it since 2003
and this is the
first time I thought about cleaning it. Only beacuse i'm doing some other
things on the
boat and I pulled the mattress out.

Russ,
The latest Practical Sailor just did a comparative on this topic. They picked Florida, the Great Lakes and New England and requested insurance quotes from several companies. Overall they found BoatUS to be the lowest--in general. But the bottom line is that the responses (and customer service) does vary widely by many factors. Location, age of boat, skipper experience, how you use the boat, etc.
For me:
I use Zurich, pay about $870 with coverage from April 1st to December 1st, 300K liability, 89K replacement, 890 deductible....

Is it the flowered print or the solid? I will have to say that when I
got my boat the inside had been used but the motor had only 136 hr.
