Over the weekend, in the rain, I was thinking of an article I saw a few
years ago about an electic propulsion system.  It did away with the Diesel
engine and either ran entirely on batteries or had a small generator.
Perhaps you could ask Gerry if this technology is dead or can we expect to
see engineless boats in the future.
