[C320-list] Steering compass : Problem!

As I found out when I went to remove my compass, Catalina has used a number of different compasses over the years on our boats.  I remember Dick Walker telling me how to remove the compass on my boat and me cursing him for his lousy instructions and then having to apologize to him when I found out that he and I have similar year boats but very different compasses.  You will have to be resourceful and basically just start loosening screws anywhere around the compass.  (If memory serves me correctly, Dick had two screws on the side and I had eight around the rim of the compass.)

Good luck and buy one with a better and bigger card and a better light.  You won't regret it.
