Whatever wind will get you up to hull speed down wind with your three
bladed sea anchor is the crossover point. At all wind speeds less than
that, a boat with folding / feathering prop will sail faster than a
boat with a three bladed fixed prop (assuming all else is equal). If
you only sail upwind, the crossover windspeed will be slightly slower.
