[C320-list] Should I buy a C320?

I was the poser of the original question, and I AM in Ottawa. For those 
not local to
North America, it is the capital of  Canada and is a little east and 
north of the "Windy
City".  I'm still waiting for the Toronto Boat Show in January before 
moving forward
on this. In the meantime I continue to monitor YachtWorld.

One route would be to sail a C320 from Chicago to Kingston On. Canada. 
One could
then remove the mast and ship it separately to Ottawa while motoring the 
hull up the
Rideau Canal (on the short list for next World Heritage Site) system and 
out the locks
on to the Ottawa River just below Parliament Hill. The hull would then 
of course have
to be hauled and trucked past the immediate  upriver rapids to my local 
sail club.

It' is a trip I've always wanted to make.
