Sandy,
The xm package that I bought had the small black dome.  I double face taped 
it just outside one of the port hatch windows and was able to hid the wire 
inside down to the nav station panel and the radio.  In one season I only 
had one person notice the antenna and ask about "the funny little thingy 
there".
