[C320-list] How to use a Martec 2 Blade folding prop

I don't have one but I've used them on other boats.  Here are my answers 
based on experience in similar boats...

1.  There is no need to lock the shaft.  Just put the transmission in 
reverse.  There are no substantial torques on the shaft while you are 
sailing once the prop folds.

2.  No.  At least not in my experience.  You have to look at the shaft 
and mounting flange to know for sure whether it is lined up.  It's 
probably possible to build some specialized gizmo that would stop the 
shaft in the right position, but I've never seen anything like this.  On 
the other hand, if you don't stop the shaft in the right position you 
will still get most of the benefits of a folding prop.  It's just that 
gravity is going to keep it partly open when you are moving slowly.
