Jeff,

I saw the adjustment screw on the pump. So what exactly does that adjust?

But irrespective of that, I had been planning on replacing the pump for a quieter one. I noticed that the pump is mounted around the corner on the left when you take out the galley cabinet. But to remove it, it seems the water heater is in the way, unless you use angled screwdrivers.
For those that have replaced their pump, did you work under a 90 degree angle or did you remove the water heater? Is it easy to remove the heater (pretty big box)...?

  Thanks, Koen

  Koen,

You might not need to disassemble the system. If you have a copy of the pump
instructions, they describe where the adjustment screw is located. That
screw will stop the pump from running occasionally when taps are closed.
