[C320-list] Stanchions

To All,
 
I will have to remove one of my stanchions because I think it is the culprit that is causing a leak in the cabin.  I question how the stanchion is attached to the deck and gunwale.  I can believe that it is only the two screws in the deck plate that hold the stanchion rigid.  Is there something that goes up inside the stanchion?
