[C320-list] Single line Dutchman?

Correction: Catalina uses many lines with too loose a cover. My main
halyard was spilling its guts after 6 months. Before I replaced it a
couple years ago it looked like a caterpillar that tried to cross a
freeway with innards falling out every couple feet.

have never had that problem.  Perhaps you are using a line with too 
loose a cover.
