Another option is to use one of those 'space blankets' that look like tin foil. You can buy them anywhere that sells camping equipment (EMS, REI, Campers World etc). They cost about 3 bucks and work very well. Just drape it over the top and under the lid. I've also added a little fan that I bought at a boat show for $10 to circulate the air in the reefer...between the two, I've been able to lower the fridge setting by about 1 with the same results (ice cubes :) )....
