[C320-list] Orlando's question

I was trying not to make everyone on the list jealous. My wife bought
me the boat as an early male menopause present. When she bought it,
during the Clinton years, she told me that I could not have a blonde, a
Jaguar, or someone with really puffy hair. I wanted to name the boat
"Better Than Monica" but she overruled me.

I don't think the purpose was to get me out of the house, because
believe it or not, neither she nor the kids really like it when I leave
to go sailing. However, it does keep me sane sailing over 460 miles so
far this year in 24 times out of the dock. (You knew I was going to
throw that in, didn't you?)

If the problem with the hatch boards is that they are teak, why not just
have your sail maker or canvas maker make you a cover out of sunbrella
to match the wheel cover and boom cover? When I bought my boat 7 years
ago I paid $70.00 for the cover. I varnished the boards when I bought
to boat, put the cover on, and did not varnish them again until three
months ago. Seems easier and cheaper, which I know is not always the
way of this list, but it works great and looks great.

Stanley do you happen to know what kind of glue you use on starboard?
