[C320-list] Perkins M30 Oil Change last drops - WARNING

Pat

You replace the plug with a fitting to allow suction from the bottom.  
Then you have gravity to assist, and you are not relying on suction from 
the top of the dipstick, or from whatever level you manage to reach with 
a flexible tube.  As I am sure you know, the Perkins has a bend in the 
dipstick tube, so it is difficult to tell when you are at the exact 
bottom.  When it hits the warm oil, a flexible tube tend to curl up away 
from the bottom.
