Steve,
I've always liked the 2 1/2 gallon cans with a bycile pump on top.  You use the hand pump to create a vacume and then suck the oil out of engine dip stick or trani filler. The neat thing is to empty it you just unscrew the cap and poor it into the marina's 55 gal recycling barrel.
Though I think Allen's approach would be far more entertaining.

Is there a favorite oil changing pump kit that works well with our boat?
There are several in the WM catalog.  This is the end of our first
season and the winterizing advice is to change the oil.

I will change the oil filter as well.  Is it best to get the filter from
Mack Boring?

Do you recommend changing the fuel filters at this time, too?
