[C320-list] Autopilot

This is my first Raymarine Autohelm (4000). I've had several Simrad &  
Robertson autopilots but the setup are different.  My question is  when  I go to a 
reach especially a broad reach the autopilot drift to  much. What is the best 
way to correct for the reaching? And can it be done  without sucking to much 
juice out of the battery?  Thanks JOHN
PS: Pointing to weather the autopilot works pretty  good.
