    An earlier message indicated that George was associated with the
Fairhope Yacht Club. Fairhope is less than 50 miles from Pensacola (where I
live) and I know the club had a lot of damage during Hurricane Katrina, so I
did a Google search on George to see if I could find out anything about him
or how his boat may have fared during the 2004-2005 hurricane seasons. I
found pictures of the severe damage to the yacht club's buildings and of the
almost total destruction of the harbor where many of the club's boats were
located.

   Also found this note in the minutes of the club.

CLUB *

** Cruising Committee - George McCanless He said the cruise to Bayou Sara
was postponed due to hurricane Rita, and will occur this weekend. Over
Veterans' Day weekend, they will go to Pensacola for the Blue Angels air
show. Details will be posted on the web site. *
There is a possibility that this is his address and phone number
