[C320-list] Engine hoses & exhaust elbow

Has anyone replaced the engine hoses on the Yanmar? I'm specifically looking at replacing the hose that runs into the exhaust elbow. It seems to wind through the galley and I believe to the hot water heater, but can't be sure. If anyone has done this project, I would appreciate any advice...

Also, I finally removed the 'custom' exhaust elbow and I'm relieved to see that it was in great condition after about 450 hours and 8 seasons. After removing the hose to the muffler, I've got to believe that the vibration along with the stiffness of the hose contributes to the premature failures of the mufflers. I was very concerned about breaking off the hose inlet on the muffler while removing that hose. I am considering putting a Trident hump connector in to alleviate this potential problem. Has anyone done this?
