Short "been there , done that" story (sh177y t-shirt).
Jabsco.
Noisy, draws a lot of amps, quit after one year.
No joy when it quit.
Got refund from WM and bought new toilet on sale for a few bucks more than a parts kit.
New pump works easy and quiet...Admiral is very happy now.

Subject: Re: [C320-list] electric toilet conversion
Hello All,
The non-return valve in the heads
aboard "Sugar'n'Spice" failed on
Saturday morning, giving a whole
new meaning to the phrase
"getting your own back", flooding
the heads and possibly taking the gloss
off of what promised to be an idyllic
long week-end's sailing.
The deck-hand is demanding that an
electric conversion be fitted to the toilet.
I have told her that she is being a bit
of a girl and that boats with onboard
bidets are quite rare and possibly
very valuable.
To no avail.
To avoid frequent GBH to my ears, I
need an excuse [sorry - sound technical
reason] to merely replace the non-return
valve and forget about the electric
conversion.
Has anyone fitted an electric conversion?
If so, what make? TCM or Jabsco?
What were the complications and don't
go theres?

regards,
Robert
