Kmart sells a clear plastic 2 gallon water container with spout that fits 
snugly (ie, it doesn't fall when sailing) on top of the stored hatch boards 
next to the companionway ladder.
A second one will fit sideways under the ladder and on top of the engine 
cover.

If you cut the lip off a Rubbermaid trash can, you can increase by maybe 10x 
the size of the trash storage under the sink.
