Yes I did add a block at the top of the mast when we installed the crane. My
rigger did that when he went to the top of the mast. We did it while in the
water at my slip. I use the spare Halyard that came with the boat. I did
change that Halyard out from the OEM to a blend that has Kevlar fibers. Joe
