[C320-list] Questions -- Chain?

Are these interchangeable with respect to the chain gypsy?  Also, why do 
you need a swivel on the anchor.  I don't use that much chain, but with 
primarily rope rode I've never seen any evidence that the system was 
twisting in any serious way.
